NaPoWriMo (5) Sunday Scribblings

Written for Sunday Scribblings - Celebrate prompt
and NaPoWriMo day five:

GUESS WHO

LOVES YOU

Sundae Sunday comes and goes

Moody moody Monday froze

Chooseday Tuesday way to go

Wednesday Thursday don’t you know

Fish day Friday feeling blue

Saturday night, I’m missing you

Now’s the time to celebrate

It’s your party don’t be late

Which way ever the wind blows

Guess who loves you even so

Ever since you went away

I think about you every day

Don’t you know I love you hey…

When are you coming to stay?

Hi everybody, It's 1.47 am here and I'm going to get an early night - I'll be over to read what everybody else came up with in the (late) morning!

i was actually reading this poem in a particular tune...it has a song like feeling to it.
Nice read...

I was thinking the same thing that Songofsea said..this does sound like a song.

Nicely done, Guy.

Mixed feelings come out in this, but the joviality always wins through.

i totally agree with the others - there's no way you could read this without singing along. lovely! and all that longing in the last few lines brings a smile, in a very longing way.

I wasn't surprised to read 'song of sea's comment - my mind was trying to make it fit a tune too! Maybe you should write one. ;)
