NaPoWriMo (19) Sunday Scribblings "Language"

Written for Sunday Scribblings - Language prompt:

An American Sandwich

PURE POETRY

Biblical Babylonia was the melting pot of languages. The Language I speak today is English in one form or another. But the language of my heart is the language of love, pure poetry.

Wonder if we all learn that inner language from the same teacher and if the manuals are all the same. ;)

Hi DM, good point. Yes, I think we are all connected to the same source, but no, I think a lot of us are singing from different song sheets.

Babylon's name has something to do with babel or confusion - fitting since love is the most confusing thing in the world :)

:) very nicely done.

and regarding your comment, i think there are something like 20 official indian languages. so i can see where the confusion can come from; but being indian, its just funny when someone asks me if i can speak indian. :D

The language of love is pure poetry. It doesn't take a lot of words to express that, just like how your short post pointed that out. Nice post and thank you for your comments on my post.

Hi San, I knew what you meant, I was trying to be diplomatic.

Thanks Nana, you know what they say, they say: keep it simple, keep it sweet, when you're groovin' down the street...

Hi Jennifer, someone told me that the language of love was Italian once and the food of love was Greek!

Hi Adell, you're spot on and that's the point I was trying to make.

Thank you so much for signing as a follower and when I figure out how to do it I'll return the compliment.
