The Height of Haiku Challenge, Day 26 - Phoenix
Welcome to Day 26 of The Height of Haiku Challenge, where your challenge is to write 30 haiku in 30 days. The prompt today is PHOENIX suggested by Tweety.
Here's mine:
PHOENIX
Mythical or not Spontaneous combustion Flight of the Phoenix 26092011
When I was in grade school, my teacher read a story about a Phoenix and its rise from the ashes...it fascinated me. I like your haiku a lot...spontaneous combustion...it is a strange truth
Hi MMT, the flight (in the third line) is the resurrection. Resurrection is always conditional, in this case upon Spontaneous combustion. Mythical or not...

ReplyDeleteGreat Haiku Andy.
ReplyDeleteLoved the idea of 'spontaneous combustion'
Eternal inspiration ... never giving up and rising above adversity to renew!! Nicely done!
