Here's mine:
A CRAPPA
Adamant, fabricate, peculiar.
Could be an anagram of:
Republican face
at Adami Art.
Perhaps or maybe:
Paint it a flame-red?
A Cuba car!

Curiously trying to compose anagrams such as this makes my brain hurt. I prefer the stream of consciousness (or in my case unconsciousness) approach to writing where even I am surprised at what I have written!
ReplyDeleteHowever under pressure (I assume) you have done very well!
I went to Adami to see him... could have sworn he was a Democrat... and he was driving a red Lada ;)
ReplyDeleteHi Old Egg, Thanks, I write them because my brain hurts, although the anagrams are the easy bit, making the title into an acrostic really makes my headache. Loved your story at Robin's Nest, I read the Post Office one as well, meat in the post? Those days really have gone. Although you still hear about lumps of meat from Africa, every now and then in the news.
ReplyDeleteHi Stan, that'll be his brother Idi, in the Russian Rolls Royce, Innit?
I've never tried anagrams. I think they'd make my head hurt too. :) But yours was a fun approach and I think it worked well.
ReplyDeleteVery clever and amusing anagrams.
ReplyDeleteDon't knock the Lada! They're Russian made Fiats, and their heaters work better than any of the expensive cars, in sub-zero temperatures.
Thanks Old Altonian, I heard that Lada's have really good batteries, although I do like the old joke: What do you call a Lada with a sunroof? A skip!
ReplyDeletelol! Clever!
ReplyDeleteBTW, for the first time in months the word verification is a real word (though most definitely NOT an aspersion on your writing):
minging.
Thanks Tilly Bud, my writing's been called much worse than that!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Old Egg..it's clever to be able to play with words (or letters!)...Well done..and much enjoyed..Jae :)
ReplyDeleteMadness? Attempting to do what you have done so well. So, I'll just make a comment and go back to my own dark corner,
ReplyDeleteElizabeth
Anagrams make my head hurt, too, but you seem to make it look easy, Andy.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed.

I'm so new to writing I have not even considered doing an anagram...but I think I just might have to! So that I can later say, "oh, that made my head hurt, too!" :)
ReplyDeleteAnd what a great way to use the 3WW prompt!
