NaPoWriMo 2011 Day Thirty

WAITING FOR APRIL SHOWERS
Sitting here waiting for the rain again
again and again I plead with the gods
god of rain I say please make it pour forth
forthrightly I beeseech you where you sit.

Wonderful weather brings all kinds of noise
noise that shakes the house to the foundations
foundations vibrating in annoyance
annoying me, and that's not wonderful.

Please, Eudora please, Zeus please send us rain
rain down on the just, just like the fallen
fall out from rain clouds otherwise blue skies
ski-daddle the noisy noise makers please.

May I have more rain than April showers
showers that will come with the first of May.
