Quatern - Twenty

SIXPENCE
Singing songs of sixpence - sixpence
A pocket full of rye, four and
twenty blackbirds baked in a pie
and when the pie was opened up

The birds began to sing - sixpence
Singing songs of sixpence - sixpence
Oh wasn't that a dainty dish
to set before the king - sixpence

The King was in the counting-house
counting out his money - sixpence
Singing songs of sixpence - sixpence
While the queen was in the parlour

Eating bread and honey - sixpence
The garden maid hung out the clothes
a blackbird came pecked off her nose
Singing songs of sixpence - sixpence
