Palpable longing. Stellar execution, AS.
ReplyDeleteAt my age, I'm not mad about the idea of eternity, but a bit more of a past would be good!
ReplyDeleteThe dichotomy of human nature :)
ReplyDeleteTime and tide waits for no man and time is without an end, so I would love to peep in the future rather the past. :)
ReplyDeleteSometimes difficult to find the balance. Nicely done.
ReplyDeleteAn enjoyable haiku.
ReplyDeleteThe past always tends to be viewed through rose tinted specs. The future is what we make it.
Wise words, I wait for eternity too, but don't look into what will happen in the future.. :)
ReplyDeleteTime, time, time we yearn for what is lost and hope for that yet to come...eternity can be a pretty boring place after a while....Nicely done haiku.
ReplyDeleteYou're in a hard place, my friend!
ReplyDeleteSome Yearning Here
we cannot help but long for that past, but future is ours to shape!
ReplyDeleteEternity and invincibility would ensure lasting past? Great write!
ReplyDeleteHank
