NaisaiKu is Kool! and Delicious!
ReplyDelete(however, a deep fried jam butty sounds too good to be true)
Hi Phil, Thanks, many thanks! I Like the jam butty reference you gave me. The worst deep fried food I heard about was the deep fried doner kebab which of course came from a chippy in Glasgow, the home of the deep fried Mars bar. Strange but true!
ReplyDeleteyummy !!!!! :D
ReplyDeleteHow fun is this! I love it - it puts the zing in words!
ReplyDeleteI like the wordplay and repetition in this piece.

Poetry on a plate.
ReplyDeleteReally very clever form and content. Well done.
ReplyDeleteAges since I've had a literary lunch :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Pretty you, don't you just love food?
ReplyDeleteThanks WonderfulWords, love that word zing!
Thanks Nicole, enjoyed your book, by the way!
I enjoyed that - whats for dessert?
ReplyDeleteHi Gordon, thanks for visiting STG.. I don't get many real poets coming here (only joking!).
ReplyDeleteHi Richard, (another real poet!)many many thanks for the kind comment...
Hi Tony
You're very welcome to take a virtual bite of my Online sandwich!

Hi Stan,

CUSTARD AND COLD CAKE

banana and sultana
custard and cold cake
I can take a hint - still working on it.
ReplyDeleteLove to read these out loud! Fun.
ReplyDeleteOf course, I've got a different imagination for Dockers Wedge. (I am thinking clothing pulled tight. Might be a matter for interpretation! Ha!)
An, m'dear. You should watch from FoodTV from the (States) south for cra-a-a-zy fried food. We're talking Twinkies, Snickers, OMG, heart attack crazy food. (Put the remote down!)
ReplyDeleteCool to use an anagram of your name!
ReplyDeleteNow hun, I'm gry (if you can figure that last part out...well I'm sure you can! unless you're caught up making another sandwich)
It took me a minute and then after rereading, I thought of my nephew and I thought he'd love to hear these. Fun read. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteHi everybody you can come over to the NaisaiKu.. blog and visit me, if you like! www.naisaiku.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteRead them to my grandaughter..then had to make her a jam sandwich
ReplyDeleteHi Deb, in this part of the world a dockers wedge was also known as a dockers doorstep, they were that thick (the sandwiches) or so they tell me...
ReplyDeleteHi gel, I'm starving! an anagram of gel would be 'leg' but Emerald eyes would have to be 'see my dealer'. or 'yes me leader'. and together they might read 'released my leg' perhaps.
Thanks Susan, They're fun to write too!
ReplyDeleteHi Wayne, thanks for visiting STG.. hope your grandaughter enjoyed her sandwich!
This poem looks like a lot of fun. Makes me hungry too!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your tips on my poem. I revised it after your comment.
chatty little sandwich makes me hungry for bread...
ReplyDeleteThanks Christine, I'm going for breakfast right now!
ReplyDeleteHi OMB, there's a thought - a talking sandwich!
I like the patterns here. It took a while to see it, but it's a cool form. Looking forward to lunch now too.
ReplyDeleteThanks James, as the pattern evolves there certainly seems to be more scope than I first thought...
ReplyDelete"See my dealer" LMAO! That's one way to market my art!"
ReplyDelete(I knew about the leg anagram...)
Hi gel, we'll have to stop meeting like this... did I tell you about a poet I know in Manchester, he calls himself Agraman the human anagram!
