ALMOST SINGING

The genius within 

goes to work, 

searching sifting, 

fishing in the gene pool.

Fixing things you wouldn't

know were broken.

There's a whole 

multi-verse in there

waiting to be explored.

I examine it myself

unlocking the gates 

with a magic key

and stepping inside, 

repeating the code

over and over, 

think of Month 6o, think. 

I think, I think I think 

of Month 60, what is it?

I whisper to myself, diving

deeper and deeper within.

The most amazing thing

is the sound, 

whistling,

screeching, 

thudding, 

almost singing.

It sounds like womb music

THE MEANING OF LIFE
What's
the
point
of
thinking
you
know
it
all
when
you
don't
know
anything?
They look perplexed
when you question the way
that they think things should be done.
To them, the powers that be,
everything is a foregone conclusion.

What they say is right and proper
and thinking otherwise is taboo.
They're always right
and you're always wrong
and that's the way they think things go.
How do you change the way that things happen,
who's controlling who, these days?

He waited for the results of his scan,
believing that he was cured.
But the doctor told him no,
an operation was the way to go.
So where did that leave him
and his simple belief in psychology?

What will his next step be,
