KEEP
THE NHS UP AND RUNNING
Who can hear what the
silent killer says
in the troubled times
we all face these days
Above my head the
canopy stretches out
secured at one end by a
broken bench
horizontally perched on
the shed roof
the other end strung to
an old greenhouse
Clear blue skies the
sun and the singing birds
make for a perfect
Easter holiday
if only things were as
they seem from here
soon we need to drive
to the hospital
There is no respite for
the Frontline Crew
the spearhead of
Doctors Nurses Porters
Domestics Housekeepers
Cleaners and Staff
that keep the NHS up
and running
