SCAREMONGERS
Make no bones about it there's no dinosaurs around
we're not digging for daises when we go to break the ground
There they were all those thousands of years ago
creating and hiding things for us to find
All of the knowledge and the secrets that they left behind
we found a fragment or three on the last ditch dig
Encoding data in stone with supernatural personas
that could travel backwards and forwards through time
Nett pollution hieroglyphics unresolved reptilian gods
snake charmers ancient astronauts and other scaremongers
They congregate in the shadows watching us
maybe they think that we are unaware
Or do they know that we know that they are really there
we're digging up our future that they buried in the past
