The Height of Haiku Challenge, Day 25 - Any Topic

Welcome to Day 25 of The Height of Haiku Challenge, where your challenge is to write 30 haiku in 30 days. Today is a Sunday, so the challenge takes a break from specific themes and you are free to take up ANY TOPIC you choose. Have fun.

Here's mine: (I chose Thought).

They're the thought police
They were not police really
They just thought they were

  1. Great Haiku.
Very clever and a great use of words
Made me smile and shiver a little at the same time.

  2. nice!
something to really think about, huh?

  3. My thoughts vanished a bit scared, but good to know they were just role playing!! Unique and clever!!

  4. Andy
Ok, as long as they know their limits.

  5. Ah those annoying attempts at restraint..I hate their red lights of sensor :) lol

  6. haha! Good one. Made me smile.

  7. Unfortunately, because they thought they were, they thought to make many people's lives miserable...

  8. "They thought they were" carries a little problem. Let's hope they wake up.

  9. Hahahahaha! And then there's the Dream Police, only in their dreams! You gave me a laugh just when I needed one, thanks. And thanks for checking out my blog too.

  10. Hi Other Mary, good question. On day 31 (which will be the first of October) I will be writing my Haiku Challenge conclusion. The working title is 'I Like Spending Time With You'. The bottom line though is that it has been a great month and it will be a hard act to follow!

    Many thanks for visiting STG

btw, there's nine blogs if you look closely!

  11. The thought police are alive and well and living in a box near you.Time to escape!

  12. Hi Rall, I was thinking of going down under!
