DIG IT (OR MAYBE THEY DIDN'T)
Different people read tea leaves and Coke cans
Perhaps some people read The Sunday Papers
Woolly Mammoth Remains Uncovered
Screams the back page headlines of the local rag
You could take that more ways than one of course
Did they dig it or maybe they didn't (dig it up)
Who knows you have to read the story
Of course no one has time for that these days
The Wordle and Sudoku are waiting
Or the newsprint is too small
I flick through the Mirror and the Evening News
Reading the headlines perusing the football scores
No time to read The Guardian or The Times
Nobody buys newspapers any more do they
Okay maybe some people read The Sunday Papers
